Class D Dry Powder      

Badger's Class D Dry Powder Extinguisher is suitable for use on metal fires.  It incorporates a soft flow extension applicator that ensures the operator's hands are kept away from the extreme heat and prevents inhalation of the toxic fumes caused by the burning metal.  Model WB570 has been tested and approved for fires involving magnesium, sodium (spills and in depth), potassium and sodium potassium alloys.
